Neighbouring Extensions in a Berkshire Conservation Area

These 1870's townhouses in a Berkshire Conservation Area have been fully restored and enlarged with a pair of contemporary extensions. The identical additions were added two years apart for two different families.

The form and materials of the extensions were developed to compliment the original houses and large areas of glazing were incorporated to fill the interiors with light.

For one family we designed bespoke furniture to provide attractive storage for a couple of keen cooks.

Outside, a garden studio and landscaping have been designed to give enjoyment all year round.
